Cargo Reservations and Information Service is available from 09:00AM till 09:00PM daily.

For cargo reservation we use Tradevision system.  All External Stations of Aerosvit Airlines and Cargo Sales Agents network worldwide have agent access to cargo reservation system.

In corporate web site of Aerosvit Airlines www.aerosvit.com have a tracking window where any client can find info about his cargo 24-hours.

3. The cargo terminal of Aerosvit Airlines at Borispol airport

        The terminal has begun practical activities on March, 13th, 2008.     The operating terminal, which takes the territory of 0.53 Hectares, is located in an end face of buildings of cargo terminal of SIA "Borispol " and possesses a floor space in 1200 Square Meters.

4. Cargo Directorate provides for transportation the next categories of cargoes:

- general cargoes;

- special cargoes.

Special cargoes are that cargoes which need special individual technology of processing. To a category of special cargoes concern:

§         Human remains;

§         Large-sized cargoes;

§         Valuable cargoes;

§         Live animals;

§         Dangerous goods (Aerosvit Airlines does not serve the given category of cargoes);

§         Perishable cargoes (at the declaration of a special mode of transportation and storage).

 IATA Manual Regulations defines «a valuable cargo» as:

??Any name having declared value of transportation 1000 $ USA (or equivalent) and more, for 1 kg of gross weight, excepting the United Kingdom where declarete value makes 450 British pounds for 1 kg of gross weight.

??Gold ingots (including the cleared and crude gold in the natural form), gold coins and gold in the form of grains, sheets, sand, a foil, a wire, molding, pipes, etc., platinum, metals of platinum group (a palladium, iridium, ruthenium, osmium and radium) and platinum alloys in the form of grains, sheets, a wire, pipes, etc. (excepting radioactive isotopes of the above-named metals and alloys which concern to dangerous cargoes).

• Official banknotes, traveller's cheques, marks, securities (excepting marks of a mint of the ) and bank cards ready to use and/or credit cards.
• Brilliants (including diamonds for industrial use), rubies, emeralds, sapphires, disgraces and natural pearls (including grown up).
• The jewelry consisting of brilliants, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, опалов and pearls (including grown up).
• Jewelry and the watches made of silver and-or gold and-or platinum.
• The products made of gold, and-or the platinums which are distinct from products with gold and platinum sputtering.
• Or other commodity nomenclature following as valuable cargo, with the instruction of value (VAL) in an airwaybill.

Large-size cargo - the cargo, which size and form demand carrying out of special loading-unloading operations. On terminology of loading works such places are coded:

• "BIG" - for the places shipped on two or more pallets
• "OHG" - for the places shipped on two silt more pallets and overhanging from them.

The perishable cargo - can be certain as a cargo which will spoil through the certain time interval or at adverse influences of an environment (temperatures, humidity). Products of a vegetative or animal origin, products of their processing, alive plants, fish material and other cargoes which demand special conditions at storage and transportation (optimum temperatures, humidity). Perishable cargoes can be divided into following groups:

·         Products of a phytogenesis: fruit, berries, vegetables, etc.;

·         Products of an animal origin: meat of animals and birds, a fish cooled and smoked, eggs, caviar, etc.;

·         Products of processing: oil, the fats, the frozen fruit and vegetables, sausage products, cheeses and other;

·         Live plants, flowers, young plant, tubers, seeds;

·         Live fish material: baby fishes, etc.;

·         Blood preserved, vaccines, biological preparations, etc.
